Chutak Hydroelectric Project
The Chutak Hydroelectric Project is a run-of-the-river power project. The project was commissioned in Feb 2011. The project involved a barrage, an underground powerhouse, a headrace tunnel and a penstock.
Encardio-rite was awarded the complete monitoring work that included supply, installation and monitoring of a number of sensors that included piezometers, water level recorder, borehole extensometers (mechanical and electronic; single and 3 point), load cells and portable readout units.
