Budhil Hydroelectric Project
Budhil Hydroelectric Project, India is a run off river hydro project located on a Budhil stream, a major tributary of the Ravi River, in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh India. The purpose of the project is to utilize the hydrological resources of the Budhil stream to generate zero emission electricity.
The Project comprises a concrete diversion dam over the stream of 64 m length with a height of 58 m. The total installed capacity of the underground power house is 70 MW.
Encardio-rite was awarded the sub-contract for supply as well as installation of safety monitoring instrumentation for the project.
