Inbuilt Tilt Beam Sensor

Inbuilt Tilt Beam Sensor

Model EAN-42M

Description

The Encardio-rite model EAN-41M/EAN-42M beam sensor consists of a MEMS tilt sensor housed inside a beam, which can be 1 m, 2 m, or 3 m long. It is attached to the structures for monitoring any differential movement and tilting of structures Model EAN-41M comes with voltage output, while model EAN-42M is a digital beam sensor. The sensors provide a relatively low-cost system that offers excellent resolution and long-term stability. The beam sensor can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. These are provided with special mounting fasteners for horizontal and vertical installations on concrete structures. For monitoring differential settlement along railway tracks, installation may be required on wooden railway track sleepers. For such installation, mounting plates are available (at extra cost). Model EAN-41M beam sensor can be monitored with any suitable portable readout unit or connected to a data acquisition system using a Busmux or multiplexer. Model EAN-42M beam sensor data can be logged and transferred through our model ESDL-30 compact wireless datalogger.
