Sripada Sagar Yellampalli Irrigation Project
Sripada Yellampally Project is situated at Yellampally Village Karimnagar District of Telangana state across the River Godavari. It is an earth dam with concrete spillways, consisting of 1180.7 m long and 26.3 m high with 62 (radial-lift gates) spillways, having a total 20 tmcft reservoir capacity. The dam is used for the purpose of irrigation and power generation.
Encardio-rite was awarded the sub-contract for supply as well as installation of safety monitoring instrumentation for the earth dam and concrete spillways. The data from the monitoring instruments were available online on Encardio-rite’s web-based online monitoring software. The instrumentation included:
