Shahpurkandi Hydropower Project

Shahpurkandi Hydropower Project on the Ravi River in Punjab features a 55.5 m high concrete gravity dam with 206 MW power output and a 7.7 km hydel channel. Encardio Rite supplied and installed key safety monitoring instruments, including piezometers, uplift and total pressure cells, strain meters, temperature sensors, joint meters, and plumbline systems. These instruments provide continuous safety data critical for power generation and irrigation operations. Data is accessible for real-time monitoring and risk management via Encardio Rite’s advanced platforms.
