Musurumilli Reservoir Project

Encardio Rite delivered advanced safety monitoring for the Musurumilli Reservoir Project in Andhra Pradesh. The project, aimed at irrigation and drinking water supply, features a 1.040 km earthen dam and spillway with 7 radial gates. Encardio Rite installed essential monitoring instruments like piezometers for foundation and embankment safety, and magnetic extensometers for both vertical and horizontal movement tracking. This instrumentation ensures the stability of the dam, supporting efficient operation and resource management for local communities.

Musurumilli Reservoir Project

The Musurumili Reservoir Project has been constructed in the Sitapalligu river basin of Godavari, near Musurumili (V) of Rampachodavaram (M) in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. It is a medium irrigation project which is proposed to create an irrigation facility to an extent of 9164 hectares (22,643 acres) as well as a drinking water facility for 23 villages enroot the canal.

The project consists of a 1.040 km long earthen dam with a maximum height of 31 m in a deep path with an upper width of 6 m and an 86.50 m long spillway with 7 radial gates, each of size 10 m x 7.5 m.
