Jeedipalli Reservoir Project

Jeedipalli Reservoir Project is located at Jeedipalli village of Beluguppamandal Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is earthen dam for the purpose of irrigation. The reservoir with gross storage capacity 1.7 tmcft is located in Penna River basin. 

Encardio-rite was awarded the sub-contract for supply as well as installation of safety monitoring instrumentation for the project. The instrumentation included hundreds of geotechnical sensors and geodetic targets including:

• Piezometers-Foundation & Embankment
• Seepage measurement systems
• Water level measurement systems
• Earth pressure cells
• Strain gages
• Magnetic extensometers - vertical
• Magnetic extensometers - horizontal
• Portable readout units
• Dataloggers
• Surface settlement points – parapet walls, embankment
