Our team will reach out to you in some time
Casa de Pedra (Stone House) iron mine is one of the largest open-pit mines in Brazil. It is located in the city of Congonhas, in the state of Minas Gerais, approximately 80 km South of the city of Belo Horizonte. The mine supplies all of iron ore needs, producing lump ore, sinter feed and pellet feed fines with high iron ore content. It is a hematite-rich iron deposit of an early Proterozoic banded iron formation in Brazil’s Iron Ore Quasrangle (Quadrilátero Ferrífero).
Encardio-rite supplied Piezometers in 2005 to monitor the underground water pressure. The instrumentation were supplied through our Marketing Associate, Terratel Ltd. in Brazil.
