Stockholm Metro Extension Project

Stockholm metro rail network in Sweden being expanded with 20 km of new track and 11 new stations on four sections in the region. The metro link expanded below ground by 11.3 km from Kungsträdgården to Nacka, Södermalm and Söderort. A new tunnel was planned from Kungsträdgården to Gullmarsplan via Sofia on Södermalm. 

The blue line was extended by approximately 4 km below ground from Akalla to Barkarby via Barkarbystaden. The stretch had two new stations, Barkarbystaden and Barkarby.

Monitoring Scope: 

Hydrogeological investigation for Stockholm Metro Extension - Blue Line. The instrumentation was required for pre-works

Encardio-rite supplied the geotechnical instruments through marketing associate in the region. 

Geotechnical instruments supplied including inclinometers and piezometers.
