STEP (Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Programme) constitutes one of the largest tunneled sewerage systems in the world. This huge gravity-driven hydraulic wastewater network tunnel was divided into 3 sections: Main Sewer; Link Sewer; Pumping Station.

Encardio-Rite Geosystems LLC provided turnkey services to all the sections. Scope of work for different section is as follows:

Main Sewer (T01, T02, T03 - 41 km): Pre and post construction building condition survey, Supply, Installation and Monitoring of Geotechnical Sensors and Surveying.

Link Sewer (LS01, LS02 - 40 km): Pre and Post Construction Building Condition Survey, Supply, Installation and Monitoring of Geotechnical Sensors and Surveying.

Pumping station: 100 m deep, 55 m wide: One of the deepest shaft for a Sewage Treatment plant: pre and post construction building condition survey, supply, installation and monitoring of geotechnical sensors and surveying. The data is monitored online with our web based data monitoring service.

Encardio-Rite Geosystems successfully carried out instrumentation for deep installations (upto 115 m depth) for the pumping station monitoring.

Encardio was selected to provide complete monitoring solutions for the prestigious Muharraq Sewage Treatment plant and sewer conveyance system, the first of its kind in Bahrain. Project involved construction of 16 km Sewer Line with 50 Shafts and a Sewage Treatment Plant. Scope of work - pre and post construction building condition survey, supply, installation and monitoring of geotechnical sensors and surveying.
